Sporting Excellence represents a ground breaking partnership between Bradford Metropolitan District Council, through their b active programme, and SportsAid, the charity for sports people.

The programme is an integral part of Bradford Gold, the city’s unique brand aimed at supporting and maximising the potential of the London 2012 Olympiad.

The programme aims to help and support talented emerging Bradford athletes by providing a financial boost and a diverse range of services specifically tailored to help them develop, not only as elite athletes, but as young ambassadors for their sport, their city and, as they progress, their country.
